Story of Wanda

Wanda joined a new ready-to-eat sandwich manufacturing industry as a part-time worker during his her graduation, and she had a different way of doing things. She noticed that the employees scurried around looking for ingredients to make the sandwiches, leading to delays in manufacture and supply. Then, Wanda introduced a process to make everything more efficient and quicker - such as keeping ingredients in a line so that employees had everything in one place.

She also made sure the workers had everything they needed close by, so they would not waste time looking for things. The other workers were skeptical at first, but they soon realized that Wanda's way of doing things was much better. They were able to work faster and make better sandwiches. They were also less tired because they did not have to run around as much

Maximizing productivity is an important factor in manufacturing industries. Adopting a lean manufacturing process will help manufacturing industries to increase their productivity.
